Silver (950) and vermeil chalice resting on a circular base decorated with three registers representing the last moments of Christ's life (Jesus and the Holy Chalice in the Garden of Olives, the Crucifixion and the Deposition from the Cross) interspersed with Eucharistic plant motifs such as wheat, grapes and reeds. The cup is adorned with three knotted medallions representing the mystic lamb, the sacred heart of Jesus and the mystic pelican.
