Émile GALLÉ (1846 - 1904) Folding games table, circa 1902-1904, in molded cedar and walnut with marquetry of different species, with a square top opening with a drawer in the waist, decorated on the outside with magnolia branches and on the inside with chestnut leaves, a butterfly and the symbols of the four card colors. Corner base with grooved curved legs (small chips, scratches, stains, discoloration, wear). Gilded metal flower-shaped pull. Signed in the top marquetry. Height 76 cm - Length 58 cm - 114 cm (open) - Depth 58 cm History: a similar model is in the collections of the Musée d'Orsay in Paris (inv. n°OAO 1469).
