BONHOMME MANCEAU (Le), sentinelle démocratique, from no. 40 (November 2, 1849) to no. 53 (February 6, 1850). Set of 14 issues in a blue half cloth volume (period binding). The last issues published of this socialist weekly aimed at farmers, covering all agricultural issues. A fierce fighter against Louis Napoléon Bonaparte, it actively campaigned in favor of the Montagnarde list led by Ledru-Rollin. The paper was seized twice.
