In-8, red morocco, large rectangle of black calf with gilt fillet on the boards, the first bearing the gilt title on two lines, smooth spine decorated, gilt head, cover and spine (Alix). First edition, 315 copies. Copy on tinted vellum, bearing a signed letter from the author to the critic and academician Émile Faguet (1847-1916). - Les Villes tentaculaires. Paris, Helleu & Sergent, 1919. In-4, leaves, partly uncut, filled illustrated cover, laced folder. First illustrated edition, with lithograph and 47 woodcuts by Frank Brangwyn. Edition of 274 copies, this one of 20 on chine. Aureole of wetness on the edges of the sections. Small paper tears to dust jacket. ex 14866/324
