Ecu with 8L 2nd type 1695 ! T (Nantes) Gad: 224; 4L: 322; CL: 33182 This coin is a curiosity and a statistical miracle. In fact, the 2nd type with 8L only begins in 1704. The explanation is simple: as chance would have it, the reformed coin was placed exactly under the same axis as its holder, and the minting was not sufficiently vigorous to cover the initial type where the vintage is located....
