Folded fan, circa 1780. The leaf painted with two figures dressed in silk, brought back to a garden (in the Chinese style). A few mother-of-pearl sequins enhance the decoration. Dull reverse. Red lacquered bamboo frame with gold decoration of a man training a horse in a garden (in the taste of China). Size: 29 x 15.3 cm Significant wear, accidents, missing parts and restorations.
