SINO-TIBETAIN WORK - 18th century Gilded bronze statue of Vaishravana seated on his snow lion, itself resting on a lotiform base with a row of petals. The god is crowned, wearing a suit of armor with fine chain mail and gules-shaped kirthimukha ornaments, shoes and booties, a skirt with a fish-body pendant, and a flying scarf around his shoulders. He is holding a mongoose in his left hand and a parasol in his right (traces of polychromy, mongoose detached, traces of glue). H. 32.2 cm
