LE MAIRE Fils ( Pierre II Le MAIRE) Silver architect's (?) pocket case, the case covered with green-tinted shagreen containing on one side: a removable quill, a ruler-level indicating "the weight of balls and the caliber of pieces, equal parts, polygons, metals, strings", a small tortoiseshell utensil; on the other side: a small inkwell. Signed on the ruler Le Maire Fils Paris. Eighteenth-century work. One element missing (probably an ivory tablet). Minor damage to the case. Length : 12cm.
